NEWTOWN, Pa. - York College junior goalie Audrey Simoes has been named the MAC Commonwealth Women's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week for the week ending March 22nd as announced by the conference office on Tuesday.

Simoes totaled 26 saves in two one-goal games against ranked opponents. She made four fourth-quarter saves and shut out Trinity in overtime before recording a career-high 16 saves against Christopher Newport.
