Women’s Lacrosse Falls in OT to W&L in Top-25 Battle

YORK, Pa. - The fifth-ranked York women's lacrosse team squandered a late lead which led to a 13-12 overtime loss to No. 12 Washington and Lee at home on Saturday.

Highlights
The Generals scored twice in the final minute of regulation to force overtime and Hannah Van Son, who scored one of those last-minute goals, notched the game-winning tally 33 seconds into overtime for her sixth goal of the day. 

The Spartans scored five-straight goals, including four in the fourth quarter, to come from behind and put themselves in the lead with 2:31 left in regulation. Sydney Mentzer scored twice on that run and finished with a team-high four tallies on the day.

The two teams traded the lead four times and were tied five times throughout the day.
