McDermott Named Commonwealth Pitcher of the Week

NEWTOWN, Pa. - York College sophomore pitcher Brian McDermott has been named the MAC Commonwealth Baseball Pitcher of the Week for the week ending March 15th as announced by the conference office on Tuesday.

McDermott delivered a dominant outing in a 1-0 victory over Eastern. The sophomore allowed just two hits and one walk over eight shutout innings while striking out five to earn the win.
