Kane Earns Back-To-Back MAC Weekly Honors

NEWTOWN, Pa. - For the second-straight week, York College senior defenseman Colin Kane has been named the MAC Commonwealth Men's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week for the week ending February 22 as announced by the conference office on Tuesday.

Kane posted a career-high tying four caused turnovers and a career-best seven ground balls to highlight another strong defensive effort by the No. 7 Spartans in a 9-8 win at Franklin & Marshall. He led all players in both categories on the day.

Through two games, Kane leads the Commonwealth with eight caused eight turnovers to go along with 12 ground balls to headline a Spartan defensive that has held their first two opponents to single digits for the first since 2022.
