Men's Lacrosse Places Three Spartans on the Academic All-MAC Team

Fisher, Bergmann and Pearl were recognized for their academic performances

YORK, PA – The York College men's lacrosse team placed three players on the 2025 Academic All-MAC squad as announced on Wednesday morning by the league office.
 
Junior attack Davis Fisher was joined by sophomores Cory Bergmann and Erik Pearl on the 14-player squad.
 
The Spring Academic All-MAC teams recognize the top student-athletes both in the classroom and in athletic competition during the 2025 spring semester. The MAC sports information directors nominate and vote on the Academic All-MAC teams, giving 50 percent weight on both academic success and athletic success. A student-athlete must have a spring semester grade-point average (GPA) of 3.20 or higher to be eligible for the award.
 
Fisher had a strong junior campaign as he was a first-team MAC All-Commonwealth pick in addition to being a USILA Honorable Mention All-American. He was the Commonwealth Attackman of the Year as he ranked inside the top 15 nationally in points.
 
Fisher notched 92 points on 32 goals and 60 assists in 21 games. Fisher's 60 assists tied him for fifth in the country. Fisher's 92 points and 60 assists set new single-season records for the Spartans. He broke the Spartans' career assist record in just three years in the Green and White.
 
Fisher is a general business major and earned a 3.65 spring GPA. He is a six-time member of the York College Dean's List.
 
Bergmann burst onto the scene for the Spartans as a sophomore. The midfielder earned first-team MAC All-Commonwealth honors. He was also selected as a USILA Honorable Mention All-American for his efforts in 2025.
 
Bergmann started all 21 games as he notched 70 points on 44 goals and 26 assists. He had two game-winning goals and four man-up goals. Bergmann scooped up 20 ground balls had three caused turnovers. He had a career-high 10 points on eight goals in a key Commonwealth win at Stevenson to clinch another Commonwealth regular season championship. The eight goals tied the single-game school record.
 
Bergmann is general business major who had a strong spring semester with a 3.91 GPA. He is a four-time member of the York College Dean's List and an overall GPA of 3.78.
 
Pearl earned his first berth on the Academic All-MAC squad. He was a first-team MAC All-Commonwealth selection while he was also the Commonwealth Specialist of the Year as a short stick defensive midfielder. Pearl also earned USILA Honorable Mention All-American honors.
 
Pearl finished the year with four points on three goals and one assist. He had 35 ground balls and six caused turnovers. He spearheaded a defensive unit which ranked inside the top 40 nationally in scoring defense (9.10 goals per game), a clearing percentage of (86.6%) and played a large role in York ranking 21st in the country in ground balls (773).
 
Pearl is a civil engineering major who recorded a spring GPA of 3.76. Overall, he owns a 3.87 GPA and is a four-time member of the York College Dean's List.
 
The Spartan men's lacrosse team has had three players honored in each of the five years they have been in the MAC.
