YORK, PA - York College junior Gavin Huey has been named the MAC Commonwealth Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week as announced Tuesday morning by the league office. 

Huey led the Spartans to a 2-0 week as the Spartans improve to 3-1-2 overall. 

Huey began the week with an assist and a goal in the 2-0 win over Susquehanna. Huey's assist came on a nifty combination on a corner kick that gave Matt Martin his second goal of the year. Huey then headed in a long free kick from Dylan Marco for the big insurance goal right before the half. 

On Saturday, Huey notched the game-winner just 3:35 into the game to put the Spartans on top, where they would stay the rest of the match. Huey now has seven points on three goals and an assist to lead the Spartans.
