Chase Broughman has been named the MAC Commonwealth Men's Soccer Defender of the Week as announced by the league office on Tuesday afternoon.
Broughman tossed a pair of shutouts in goal for the Spartans this week as the Green and White improved to 3-1-2.
In the win over Susquehanna, Broughman made three saves in his 90 minutes of work to earn his first shutout of the year.
He followed that on Saturday with one save in the 2-0 clean sheet against Lancaster Bible.
Broughman has played the last three games in relief of starter
Jake Bono. He is currently 2-0-1 with a 0.67 goals against average and an .846 save percentage.
