YORK, PA – The York College Athletic Department had six Spartan male student-athletes earn College Sports Communicators (CSC) At-Large Academic All-District honors as announced by the organization recently.

Gavin Gismondi were joined on the squad by golfers
Jacob Fripp and
Gavin Ganter.
Student-athletes who own a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or above and are significant contributors to their teams are eligible to earn the prestigious academic honor.
Fisher had a fantastic season as he set single-season records for points and assists. He totaled 92 points on 32 goals and 60 assists for the Green and White. His 92 points places him inside the top 15 in all of Division III. Fisher also set the career assists record in just three years as he now has 102 helpers, eclipsing the previous mark of 100 set by former Spartan great Thomas Pfeiffer. Fisher is a general business major with a 3.65 GPA.
Bergmann had a break-out season in which he accumulated 70 points on 44 goals and 26 assists. He registered a career-high 10 points with a career-best eight goals in a big 20-13 victory at No. 11 Stevenson. Those eight goals tied the program's single-game record, while his 10 points tied for second-most in Spartan history. The sophomore had eight games with four or more points and seven games with three or more goals. Bergmann is a general business major and boasts a 3.78 GPA.
Pearl enjoyed a strong sophomore year as he was named the MAC Commonwealth Specialist of the Year. He was an outstanding two-way threat for the Spartans. He notched 35 ground balls and six caused turnovers for the year. He added four points on three goals and one assist. His first career goal came in the exciting 11-10 overtime win over #11 Swarthmore. Pearl is a civil engineering major and owns a stellar 3.87 GPA.
Gismondi came to the Spartan program as a grad transfer and made a huge impact on the Green and White lineup. Gismondi tallied 80 points on 54 goals and 26 assists with two game-winning goals for the Spartans. He registered six man-up goals while he also recorded 51 ground balls and eight caused turnovers. He scored five goals in two different games including five goals and three assists in the Spartans' 16-10 MAC Commonwealth championship game win over Stevenson. Gismondi is a data analytics grad student with a 3.62 GPA.
Fripp led the Spartans to their second straight MAC Commonwealth title as he earned the Commonwealth Player of the Year award for York. Fripp shot 71 in the opening round and followed that with a 72 on Sunday second round of the championships. Fripp recorded birdies on the 17
th and 18
th holes to secure the individual win for the Spartans. He finished the year averaging 74.59 strokes per round in his eight events for the Green and White. Fripp earned GCAA Ping All-Region honors for his campaign. Fripp is a political science major and owns a GPA of 3.52.
Ganter concluded his Spartan career with another strong campaign as he earned GCAA Ping All-Region accolades. He finished the year with a 75.67 scoring average as he played in all ten Spartan events for the year. He shot a school-record seven-under-par 64 during the second round of the D3 Northeast Elite Invitational at the Williamsport Country Club. Ganter graduated with a degree in entrepreneur and innovation as he registered a GPA of 3.64.
