YORK, PA – The 2025 York College baseball team was recognized by the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) for academic achievement as announced on Wednesday by the organization.
 
York was awarded the 2025 ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award, presented by Sports Attack. The award recognizes teams from each level of college and high school baseball who post a team GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale for the academic campaign.
 
The Green and White posted a team GPA of 3.44 for the year after a 3.52 in the fall and a 3.35 in the spring semester. The squad had the third highest team GPA of the 10 Spartan men's team this year. They finished 0.04 behind men's lacrosse, the top Spartan men's academic team in 2024-25.
 
York has earned the ABCA honor in each of the last seven consecutive years.
