GREENSBORO, N.C. - The York College baseball program garnered the recognition for its academic success as the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) released its list of Team Academic Award winners on Wednesday.

The ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award, presented by Sports Attack, honors ABCA member programs that posted a cumulative team GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale during the 2025-26 academic year.

York was one of just five Commonwealth members (Alvernia, Eastern, Hood and Widner) to earn this distinguished honor. Additionally, a total of 17 Spartans landed on the Middle Atlantic Conference Spring Academic Honor which recognizes student-athletes who posted a term GPA of 3.2 or better in the spring with four of those York honorees posting a perfect 4.0 spring GPA.
