YORK, Pa. - The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Baseball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes baseball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. The Spartans had five honorees make the All-District squad.
Lucas Prendergast,
Joe Urban,
Brett Michael,
Luke Moser, and
Brian McDermott were named Academic All-District.
Prendergast was named a finalist for the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced June 23.
To be selected, a student-athlete had to have been at least a sophomore academically and athletically, have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale), and student-athletes must compete in 90 percent of the institution's games played or must start in at least 66 percent of the institution's games. For pitchers, a student-athlete must have made at least 17 appearances or pitched 35 innings.
