YORK, PA – York College baseball player Lucas Prendergast was recognized by a pair of organizations on Tuesday. 

Prendergast earned first-team ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division III All-Region to go along with second-team d3baseball.com All-Region V accolades.

Prendergast capped off his career, batting .403 this season with 17 doubles, two triples, and five home runs. This is his second ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division III All-Region selection. The senior held a team-high 15 game hitting-streak and 23 game reached base streak. 

Prendergast earned first-team MAC All-Commonwealth honors when those squads were announced earlier in May.

Prendergast is the 19th Spartan to earn ABCA first-team all-region honors and the 17th Spartan to earn d3baseball.com honors.
