YORK, PA - York College senior forward Lexi Mazzella has been named the MAC Commonwealth Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week as announced by the league office on Tuesday morning. 

Mazzella led the Spartans to two wins for the week including a 1-0 win in Saturday's MAC Opener. 

On Wednesday Mazzella notched her first career hat trick as she powered a Spartan offense that scored a season-high in goals. Mazzella opened the scoring with the game-winning goal in the 23rd minute. After a Sara Frensley goal in the 50th minute, Mazzella scored again in the 52nd and 55th minutes for the 4-0 Spartan lead. 

She had three shots in the win over Albright. 

Mazzella leads the Spartans in scoring with 16 points on eight goals. She has two game-winning goals as she has scored on eight of her 13 shots on goal for the year.
