YORK, PA - York College junior
Meg Kalthof has been named the MAC Commonwealth Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week as announced by the league office on Tuesday.
Kalthof led the Spartans to a win in their lone game of the week.
The Spartans downed Alvernia 3-0 on a rain soaked Saturday night in Reading. Kalthof had a hand in all three goals for the Green and White in the win.
Kalthof opened the scoring with a goal in the 15th minute of the game to give York the early lead. York added to the lead in the 32nd minute off a pass from
Abby Brown.
Kalthof assisted on the Spartans' third goal,
Lexi Mazzella's header in the 53rd minute.
The five points were a season-high for Kalthof and were one point short of her career high which she set as a freshman against Albright on October 25, 2023.
For the year, Kalthof has a team-leading 19 points on eight goals and three assists in 13 games played.
