YORK, PA – The York College baseball squad dropped a 7-4 Capital Athletic Conference loss at Frostburg State University on Wednesday afternoon in Frostburg, Maryland. The Bobcats improve to 10-6 overall and 4-3 in the conference. York, losers of three straight, fall to 6-14 overall and 4-3 in the league.

How It Happened: 

• The Bobcats opened the scoring with a run in the bottom of the second as Devin Bell scored on a wild pitch.

• Frostburg State pushed the lead to 5-0 with a four spot in the bottom of the third inning. Jamaal Windom had an RBI triple to start the scoring in the frame. KJ Hockaday and Cody Harman each added an RBI single. Brad Garrant closed out the inning with a two-run single.

• York got on the board in the top of the fourth as Luke Knott doubled to right field. He scored on a Collin Crowell RBI double to left. Crowell would come around to score on a Seth Brosius single up the middle.

• York cut their deficit to 5-4 with two runs in the top of the sixth inning. Brosius had an RBI single to plate the first run followed by a Sean Mohollen RBI ground out.

• Frostburg got one of the those runs back in the bottom of the sixth as Connor Cooper blasted a lead off home run to right center as FSU pushed the lead to 6-4.

• The Bobcats closed out the scoring in the bottom of the eight as Harman had an RBI single to left, pushing the Frostburg lead to 7-4.
