Noelle Smith was honored with a spot on the 2026 Baseball Academic All-MAC Team as announced by the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) office on Monday. Smith was one of 10 student-athletes recognized on the team.
The Spring Academic All-MAC teams recognize the top student-athletes both in the classroom and in athletic competition during the 2026 spring semester. The MAC sports information directors nominate and vote on the Academic All-MAC teams, giving 50 percent weight on both academic success and athletic success. A student-athlete must have a spring semester grade-point average (GPA) of 3.20 or higher to be eligible for the award.
Academically, Smith posted a 3.40 spring GPA to qualify for the award and owns a 3.55 cumulative average as a dual major studying behavioral sciences and criminology/criminal justice.
On the field, Smith burst onto the scene and earned an NFCA Second Team All-Region selection and a First Team All-MAC Commonwealth nod. She ranked top-10 nationally with a .919 slugging percentage, while leading the Commonwealth with a 1.419 OPS and ranked second in the league with a .465 batting average.
