York Women’s Lacrosse Honored by IWLCA for Academic Prowess

NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. – The York College women's lacrosse program as a whole and specific individuals were honored as the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) released its Academic Honor Squads and Academic Honor Roll on Wednesday.

The Spartan program was tabbed one of the IWLCA Academic Honor Squads which recognizes the teams who posted a 3.2 or higher team GPA for the 2025-26 academic year. York was one of just five institutions from the MAC Commonwealth to earn this prestigious honor.

In addition to team recognition, 10 Spartans were named the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll which recognizes individuals who posted a 3.2 or higher team GPA for the 2025-26 academic year. York's honorees included:
Keeley Ballard, Jr. - Criminology & Criminal Justice
Kate Feldman, Jr. - Early Elementary Education
Lauren Gillies, Sr. - Integrated Marketing Communications
Katie Jeanes, Sr. - Graphic Design
Lily-Ann LaComb, Sr. - Biology
Alyssa Lienhard, Jr. - Finance
Kiera McPhillips, Jr. - Secondary Education
Sydney Mentzer, Sr. - Early Elementary Education
Audrey Simoes, Jr. - Exercise Science
Kate Walsh, Sr. - Supply Chain Operations Management

York's number of 10 honorees ranked second in the MAC Commonwealth and just third overall among all MAC Freedom and MAC Commonwealth members behind Stevens (17) and Messiah (11).
