She has a pair of shutout appearances on the season and has held 11 opponents to single-digits, including Wooster who scored a season-low seven goals as the nation's second-best scoring offense.

Senior Kate Walsh, the Commonwealth Defender of the Year, garnered her first All-Region selection as she landed on the First Team. Her immense impact on defense and on the clear has resulted in York owning the Metro Region's top scoring defense (7.40 gpg) and the best clearing team (.879 pct.) in the region. Walsh ranks second on the team so far this season with 34 ground balls and is third with 15 caused turnovers.

Senior Krista Yarusso also earned her first-career All-Region honor with a placement on the Second Team. The senior attacker ranked top-10 in the Metro Region in assists (37) and points (72) as her assist total is tied for the third-highest single season total in program history. Her contributions powered the Spartans to the Metro Region's second-best scoring offense (14.95 gpg) and accumulated the fourth-most assists per game (7.20 apg) in the region. Yarusso has accumulated 83 assists for her career which ranks as the fourth-most in program history.

York tied Commonwealth rival Messiah for the most All-Metro Region selections (4), but matched Centennial Conference foes Gettysburg and Franklin and Marshall for the most First Team honorees (3). Two other Commonwealth teams were also represented on the All-Metro Region team which included Stevenson (3) and Widener (1).
