YORK, Pa. - York sophomore Daisey Hawkins has been named the Middle Atlantic Conference Women's Wrestler of the Week for the week ending Jan. 11 as announced by the conference on Tuesday.

Hawkins led York to a 3-1 showing at the Ursinus Duals, going a perfect 4-0 on the day. The sophomore accounted for 19 team points, recording three falls—two in the first period—and added a 12-1 technical fall while competing up a weight class.
