Abby Brown has been selected to participate in the 2025 NCAA Career in Sports Forum scheduled to be held May 28-31 at the NCAA Headquarters in Indianapolis, Indiana.
The Career in Sports Forum is an annual educational program that brings together 200 selected NCAA Student-Athletes to learn and explore potential careers in sports, especially college athletics. The three-day forum helps student-athletes map their career paths. Participants are able to network with, and learn from, current athletics professionals.
Brown is a three-year starter for the Spartans as she also served as a captain during her junior year. She has recorded 12 career points for the Spartans with five goals and two assists from her midfield position. Brown has recorded three game-winning goals during the first three years of her Spartan career.

Kelly Wakeman is thrilled to see Brown get the opportunity to participate in the forum.
"Abby is a very hard worker who does all the right things both in the classroom and on the field," said Wakeman. "To be selected for the Career in Sports Forum speaks to so many of her great qualities. Being selected as one of 200 student-athletes across all divisions is a remarkable honor. She will take full advantage of this opportunity."
Brown is a civil engineering major and owns a GPA of 3.79. She is a five-time member of the York College Dean's List.
Brown returns to the pitch for her senior year in the fall of 2025. The Spartans are 37-16-9 overall during Brown's career including 17-2-3 in MAC Commonwealth play. York opens the season on August 29 against Washington and Lee at Graham Field.
