YORK, PA – The York College women's swim team got some great performances during day three of the 2025 MAC Championships.
The Spartans remain in fifth place three quarters of the way through the championships. York has accumulated 506 points for the championships. Stevens continues to run away with the team championship as they have totaled 1240.5 points as they are well in front of second place Messiah (854 points). Misericordia (811 points) is third while Widener (738.5 points) is in front of the Spartans in fourth place.
The Spartans got another gold medal performance from junior standout
Isabella Klemm. Not only did Klemm win the 100 breaststroke for the Spartans but she set a new school and conference record. Klemm set the record the first time in the preliminaries with a time of 1:03.22. She then bested that mark in the evening swim with a time of 1:02.71. The win is her team-leading 25
th of the year.
The 800 free relay team earned a bronze medal as the foursome of
Annika Doutrich,
Camden Perella,
Annie Custis, and Klemm
 combined to post a time of 8:00.00 to earn the bronze. The Spartans now have two medal winning relay teams as the 400 medley relay finished second on Friday night.
Custis recorded York's other top 16 time as she placed sixth in the 100 backstroke finals, touching the wall in a time of 1:00.43.

The Spartans wrap up the 2005 MAC Championships on Sunday as they will get back into the pool at 9:30 am for the day four preliminaries. The prelims include the 100 free, the 200 back, the 200 breast and the 1650 free. The finals are set for a 5:30 pm start on Sunday evening.
