Klemm Repeats as MAC Swimmer of the Year While Spartans Finish Fourth

YORK, Pa. - The York College women's swimming team captured two medals, including a gold, on the final day of the 2026 Middle Atlantic Conference Swimming Championship held at the Graham Aquatic Center and finished fourth out of 11 teams.

Spartan senior Isabella Klemm was named the David B. Eavenson MAC Women's Swimmer of the Year for the second year in a row.

Stevens claimed the team title for the second-straight year and third time overall with 1516 points, followed by Misericordia (1227), Messiah (1105), York (923) and Widener (766.5) in the top-five. York's fourth-place finish is their highest finish at a MAC Championship since they joined the conference for the 2020-21 season.

Highlights
Klemm solidified herself as the Swimmer of the Year as she led all women with three individual gold medals. She accounted for 313 team points while totaling five medals (three individual, three relay) throughout the four-day event. She captured gold in the 100 breaststroke, 200 breaststroke and 200 IM, while also contributing to silver medals in both the 200 freestyle relay and 800 freestyle relay, in addition to a bronze in the 400 medley relay.

The highly decorated Spartan senior closes her career as a three-time champion in the 200 IM and a two-time champion in both the 100 and 200 breaststroke, while compiling 14 MAC medals.

Annika Doutrich captured silver in the 1650 freestyle on Sunday with a time of 18:07.93 and is now a two-time medalist in the event after earning bronze as a rookie last year. The sophomore had an outstanding championship as she totaled six medals (three individual, three relay) with four silvers and two bronzes.

Annie Custis finished third in the 200 backstroke on the final day to earn the first individual MAC medal of her career. The sophomore also put together a strong championship performance as she compiled four medals (one individual, three relay) with two silvers and two bronzes.
