YORK, PA – The York College women's swim squad had a solid day on Friday during day two of the MAC Championships at the Graham Aquatic Center in York.
The Spartans are fifth midway through the championships with 363 points. Stevens continues to lead the team score with 857.5 points while Misericordia is second with 640 points. Messiah is third with 552 points while Widener is fourth with 471.5 points.
The Spartans started the evening with a sixth-place finish in the 200 free relay as the foursome of
Isabella Klemm,
Annie Custis,
Camden Perella, and
Annika Doutrich combined to post a time of 1:40.56.
Doutrich continued her outstanding first MAC Championships as she finished second in the 200 free, touching the wall in a time of 1:56.09. It's her second silver medal in as many days. Junior
Camden Perella won the 200 free B final with a time of 2:00.30 while
McKinley Stokley finished seventh in the B final and 15
th overall with a time of 2:04.79.
The 400 medley relay capped a good night with a second place finish as Custis, Klemm, Doutrich and Perella posted a time of 3:58.82 to earn 56 team points.

The Spartans return to the pool on Saturday morning for the day three preliminaries. The Spartans will compete in the 200 fly, the 100 backstroke, the 100 breaststroke, and the 800 free relay. The preliminaries start at 9:30 followed by the finals at 5:30 pm.
