Women’s Swimming Defeats Susquehanna

YORK, Pa. - The Spartan women's swimming team improved to 2-2 on the season with a 109-90 victory over Susquehanna at home on Friday night.

York compiled 12 individual top-three finishes on the day with six first-place performances. The Spartans also won both the 200 free and 200 medley relays.

Annika Doutrich and Isabella Klemm led the way with two individual wins each and each contributed to a relay win. Doutrich won the 500 free and 1000 free, while Klemm prevailed in the 200 breaststroke and 200 IM.

Annie Custis and Camden Perella accounted for York's other individual wins and both contributed to a win in the 200 medley relay. Custis finished first in the 200 backstroke, while also finishing second in the 50 free. Perella won the 200 freestyle and finished second in the 100 freestyle.

Regan Hyder, Leah Koons, Sarah McShane and McKinley Stokely all nabbed third-place finishes.
