YORK, PA - For the sixth straight week, York College senior goalie Bella Garabo was named the MAC Commonwealth Defensive Player of the Week as announced by the league office on Monday. 

Garabo capped a fantastic regular season with a pair of wins as the Spartans earned their second straight MAC Commonwealth regular season crown.

In the win over Stevenson, Garabo played the first 45 minutes of the game as she notched four saves for the win.

On Saturday at Widener, Garabo played the first 35:59 of the game and shut out the Pride with a save.

For the season, Garabo is 13-3 with a 6.60 goals against average and a .541 save percentage.
