• York tied the game in the third as Joanna Marmo doubled in Savannah Zittle with two outs, knotting the game at one.

Haley Hirn gave the Spartans a lead they wouldn't lose as she blasted a home run to lead off the fourth inning. The blast was her second of the day and third of the year.

• Senior Carleigh Ruleman gave York a key insurance run in the top of the fifth as she doubled in Zittle who scored from second, giving York a 3-1 lead.

• That would be more than enough for Jurkiewicz as she scattered six hits over her seven innings of work as she improved to 9-4.
