How It Happened
• Game one was a pitcher's dual as starters Ginger Lewis and Rachael Milligan were dominant from the start.
• York opened the scoring in the third as Quinn Fisher singled to lead off the inning. Julie Van O'Linda sacrificed Fisher to second. Savannah Zittle was hit by a pitch to put runners at first and seocnd. Katie Maloney followed by reaching on a fielder's choice when shortstop Kaila Beach looked to third to try to get an out but by the time she looked to first, Maloney had reached first. Joanna Marmo then plated Fisher with a sacrifice fly to right, giving York the 1-0 lead.
• Salisbury wasted little time in tying the game. Brooke Yerger drew a lead off walk, moved to second on a Caitlin Lake sacrifice before scoring on a Annie Pietanza single to right.
• The teams would then take turns wasting offensive opportunities as Lewis and Milligan took turns throwing up zeros on the board.
• York got a lead off double from Haley Hirn in the bottom of the fourth but she would be left standing at third to end the inning.
• The Spartans got a Katie Maloney double with one out in the fifth but she would not make it any further as York stranded a pair in the inning.
• LeAnne Collins led off the top of the sixth and would move to third but a shallow fly out to center and a fly out would end the inning.
• In the bottom of the seventh, Zittle led off with a single to right and she moved to second on a passed ball but she would not go any further as the heart of the Spartan order came up empty.
• Finally in the ninth with the specter of the international tie breaker looming, the Spartans got something cooking. Van O'Linda reached on a fielding error to start the game-winning rally. Zittle reached on a beautiful bunt single to put runners at first and second. Maloney sacrificed the runners up 60 feet each. After a ground out, Carleigh Ruleman stroked a line drive game-winner to center to score Van O'Linda with the game winner.

How It Happened
• The Sea Gulls wasted little time in getting on top in the first inning of game two. LeAnne Collins led off the game with a single to center. Brooke Yerger reached on a bunt single. After a strikeout Annie Pietanza doubled to score Collins and Yerger. After a walk, Kristen Yanarella singled to left to score Pietanza with the third run of the inning. York would get out of the inning but the damage was done.
• The Sea Gulls tacked on two more runs in the second as Caitlin Lake doubled down the line to score Collins who had reached on an error with one out in the inning. Pietanza plated Lake with a single up the middle.
• Salisbury tacked on a trio of runs in the top of the fourth to push out to an 8-0 lead. Lake had an RBI double to left center and Mikayla Meehan singled up the middle to plate two more.
• York broke up the shutout with a Joanna Marmo RBI double to left center to score Savannah Zittle with two outs. Carleigh Ruleman followed with her conference-leading 13th home run of the year, a shot to right center to trim York's deficit to 8-3.
• That would be as close as York would get as the Sea Gulls closed out the scoring with a run in the sixth and two more in the seventh to finish with the 11-3 advantage.
