How It Happened
• The Falcons jumped on the board in the first as Carrie Fix led off the game with a single up the middle. Fix was sacrificed to second and moved to third on an Amanda Jones single to right to put Falcons at the corners. Jones stole second and Erin Cressman walked to load the bases. Amber Bingaman hit a sacrifice fly to center to score Fix. Spartan starter Melissa Jurkiewicz got out of the inning with ground out to minimize the damage.
• Messiah got another run in the second as McKenzie Tebbs doubled to lead off the inning. She would score three pitches later when a pick off attempt at second ended up in center field for an unearned run.
• Fix would handcuff the Spartan offense through the fourth. She had a perfect game until Joanna Marmo doubled down the left field line with two outs in the fourth to snap the no-hitter. Marmo would be left at second as Fix got the next Spartan to pop up.
• York got their only other runner in the sixth as Joclyn Hunsicker drew a one out walk as a pinch hitter. Fix got the next two Spartans to get out the inning.
• The Falcons got to Jurkiewicz for a pair of runs in the top of the seventh to give Fix a pair of insurance runs. Messiah got the two runs on four hits.
• Marmo led off the bottom of the seventh with a single up the middle. The Falcons would commit an error to put runners at first and second but Fix wiggled out of the jam to end the game.

How It Happened
• York had a golden opportunity to get on the board in the bottom of the second as they loaded the bases with one out. Haley Hirn walked and moved to second on a wild pitch. Ashley Werner singled to left putting runners at the corners. Joclyn Hunsicker drew a pinch hit walk to load the bases. Falcon starter Madelyn Yannetti got a fielder's choice grounder to short as the Falcons cut down the runner at the plate. Yannetti got a pop up to end the Spartan threat.
• Both starters continued to throw up zeroes as the day light continued to recede. The two teams headed to the seventh knotted in a scoreless tie.
• The Falcons started the game-winning rally in the top of the seventh as Sydney Boreman drew a one-out walk and McKenzie Tebbs singled to second. Emily Quatrale laced a single to center, scoring pinch runner Nicole Kreimer with the game-winning run. Spartan starter Ginger Lewis, who threw great all game long, was able to get out of the inning with just the one run allowed but the damage had been done.
• The bottom of the seventh was played by the din of the scoreboard in left. Ashley Werner drew a lead off walk but was forced out at second for out number one. Yannetti got a strikeout and a ground out to end the game and complete the sweep for Messiah.
