Box Score YORK, PA – The York College women's lacrosse team jumped out to an early lead and cruised past St. Mary's (Md.) College 14-4 at Kinsley Field on Wednesday. The victory, behind four goals from Kayleigh Phillips and Meghan Fox, pushed the Spartans to 3-0 in the Capital Athletic Conference.

How it Happened:
• Kayleigh Phillips jump-started the Spartans scoring, converting a man-up advantage into an early goal off of a pass from Devin Hursey. A minute and a half later, Phillips threw home her second to give York a 2-0 lead, this time from Melissa Meehling. Less than a minute later, Katelyn Cattrano fed the first of her three assists to Meghan Fox. Around two minutes later, Cattrano fed Regan Cook to make it 4-0. At the 18:38 mark, Rachel Saks finished off the 5-0 run on a free-position shot.
• Megan Cannon scored for the Seahawks to make it 5-1, but York ended the half with another flurry. Again, it was Phillips stepping up. She scored twice in just over three minutes, and Fox scored while a man down with 14 seconds remaining in the half to give York an 8-1 lead at the break.
• Two Fox goals sandwiched a Cook goal to open the second half, and the Spartans led 11-1 three minutes into the second half. York would finish with 14 goals as Jordan Cassella, Skye Slater and Claudia DiVenti tallied goals, giving the seventh-ranked Spartans a 14-4 victory.
