How it Happened:
• York wasted little time jumping all over the Bobcats, scoring within the first minute of the game. Regan Cook took a pass from Katelyn Cattrano and finished just 56 seconds in. A minute later, Melissa Meehling scored. Twenty seconds after that, Meehling converted on a free-position shot. The Spartans weren't done, though. Kayleigh Phillips scored 43 seconds after Meehling, and then it was less than minute before Cattrano put away her first goal. Three minutes and 43 seconds into the game, the Spartans had already buried five goals, and had firm control of the game. Just over four minutes later, York had three more goals, one from Cook, one from Rachel Saks and one from Meghan Fox.

• Frostburg State got on the board at the 18:55 mark in the first half, when Morgan Cavey scored for the Bobcats. York answered with three more goals in just over three minutes, the goals from Hayley McCormick and two from Skye Slater. Cavey scored again for FSU before Claudia DiVenti concluded the scoring for York. The Spartans led 12-4 at the break.

• To start the second half, York ripped off five more goals in the first eight and a half minutes. DiVenti led the way 1:41 into the half, then Fox scored her second 13 seconds later. Slater completed her hat trick, pushing the York lead to 15-4 with 25:20 left in the second half then Cook scored two straight. The Spartan lead grew to as large as 13 goals on two separate occasions. DiVenti scored her third and Jordan Cassella notched a goal before the final buzzer. York cruised to a 19-7 triumph.
