D’Orazi, Johnsen, Jolakian, Strickland Earn Women’s Golf Academic All-MAC Honors

NEWTOWN, Pa. – Four members of the York College women's golf team - Vivian D'Orazi, Ava Johnsen, Victoria Jolakian and Grace Strickland - were honored with spots on the 2026 Women's Golf Academic All-MAC Team as announced by the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) office on Wednesday. A total of 10 student-athletes were recognized on the team.

The Spring Academic All-MAC teams recognize the top student-athletes both in the classroom and in athletic competition during the 2026 spring semester. The MAC sports information directors nominate and vote on the Academic All-MAC teams, giving 50 percent weight on both academic success and athletic success. A student-athlete must have a spring semester grade-point average (GPA) of 3.20 or higher to be eligible for the award.

D'Orazi posted a superb 3.87 spring GPA in her final semester before graduating in May with a degree in marketing. The senior closed out her playing career earning First Team All-MAC honors with a fourth-place finish at the conference championship event and owned three top-10 finishes throughout the season.

Johnsen compiled a perfect 4.0 spring term GPA while working towards her degree in business administration. The sophomore made a big impact in the Spartan line up this past season as she captured eight top-10 finishes, including six top-fives, and earned Second Team All-MAC honors with a sixth-place finish at the MAC Championship.

Jolakian posted a stellar 3.87 spring GPA as an accounting major to cap off her junior year. The MAC Golfer of the Year placed first at the MAC Women's Golf Championship and finished the season with three tournament titles with five top-10 finishes.

Strickland posted a 3.65 spring GPA on her way to earning her degree in exercise science. Despite limited appearances in the spring, the senior managed to capture First Team All-MAC honors with a second-place finish at the MAC Championship and ended the season with three top-10 performances.

Four Academic All-MAC selections is the most in program history for the Spartans. Jolakian and Strickland are now three-time Academic All-MAC picks, joining Natalie Robson for the most in program history. York has now had 17 total selections since joining the league in 2021.
