WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - The York College women's golf team participated in the 2026 Williams College Fall Invitational at the Taconic Golf Club in Williamstown, Mass. 

The Spartans finished 15th, posting a two day score of 715. The Green and White shot 359 on Saturday before shooting a 356 on Sunday. 

Middlebury won the team title with a score of 598. Williams finished one stroke behind Middlebury, posting a score of 599. Amherst (611) placed third, while Wellesley, Babson, and Trinity all tied for fourth, tallying 624 strokes. 

Ava Johnsen led the way for the Spartans with a two-day total of 167. Johnsen scored an 89 Saturday, before improving to a 78 on Sunday. She had one birdie Saturday and two on Sunday. 

Lily Davis placed 65th with a total of 177. She had one birdie on Saturday. 

Samiya Bodalia finished 69th, scoring a 182. Bodalia also had a birdie on Saturday. 

Nicole Tarquinio (194) and Rachel Koengetter (197) rounded out the Spartan squad, placing 72nd and 73rd respectively. Koengetter birdied on the 18th hole in the Sunday round. 

The Spartans will head to the Stevenson Fall Invitational, October 13th, held at Oakmont Green Golf Club.
