York College Reveals Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2026

Six New Members will be Etched into York College Athletic History

YORK, Pa. - The York College Athletic Hall of Fame Committee is pleased to announce the induction of six individuals as part of the Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2026.

The class features one contributor and five student-athletes. The list of inductees includes:
Aaron Beale - Men's Soccer
Melanie Glessner - Women's Soccer
Scott Guise - Athletic Communications (posthumously)
Tyler Hutson - Men's Lacrosse
Jessica (Miller) Lincoln - Women's Cross Country/Track & Field
Erica (Mulford) Schuck - Women's Lacrosse

Aaron Beale
Men's Soccer - 2010-13
Aaron Beale was a standout defender during a highly-successful era for York College men's soccer during which the Spartans posted an overall record of 64-16-11 (.764 win pct.) with a remarkable record of 24-2-4 (.867 win pct.) in regular season conference games. He led a defensive unit that posted 49 shutouts and allowed just 0.62 goals per game during his four-year career. Beale played a big role in guiding the Spartans to four-consecutive Capital Athletic Conference titles with a pair of trips to the NCAA Round of 16. He is just one of five players in program history to earn All-American honors and ranks inside the top-10 in program history with his 85 games played at the time of his induction.

Melanie Glessner
Women's Soccer - 2010-14
Melanie Glessner owns one of the most decorated careers in York College women's soccer history and rose to national prominence for both her athletic and academic success. After battling injuries early in her career, Glessner erupted onto the scene in 2012 during her junior year as she led Division III in save percentage (.941) and became just the third player in program history to earn All-American honors as she was tagged a second-team selection by d3soccer.com. Also in her junior campaign, Glessner posted a 0.31 goals-against average which held up as the single-season record during the Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) era, while her 14 shutouts still holds up as a York single-season record at the time of her induction. Her 0.57 career goals-against average remained at the top of the list at the end of the CAC era, while she ranks first in York history in career save percentage, single-game saves and tied for first in career shutouts at the time of her induction. Glessner also holds the distinction of being the only two-time Academic All-American in women's soccer program history, an honor which annually recognizes the best student-athletes in the nation.

Scott Guise
Director of Athletic Communications - 1995-2025
Scott Guise served as the Director of Athletic Communications for 30 years before passing away in December of 2025 after a courageous four-year battle with colorectal cancer. He joined York College in July of 1995 and spent the next three decades shaping the story of Spartan athletics. He worked tirelessly to ensure every team and every student-athlete got the recognition they deserved, while approaching every task with precision, humility, and a genuine love for the work.

Guise covered seminal moments in York College athletics history which included the men's basketball team's NCAA Division III Final Four run in 2005, and a pair of individuals (Duane Bastress and Kyle Walthall) who became NCAA national champions in the sports of men's wrestling and men's swimming. He helped coordinate the hosting of countless NCAA tournament contests in the sports of basketball, field hockey, lacrosse and soccer, publicized 55 conference team titles, and was responsible for the nomination of 20 Academic All-Americans and 13 MAC Senior-Scholar Athlete award winners throughout his tenure.

In the spring of 2025, Guise was honored by the Middle Atlantic Conference with the Giant Steps Award which is given to individuals who have overcome adversity while still succeeding in life and who inspire us to do great things using the positive aspects of sport. He was the 2021 recipient of the Irving T. Marsh Service Bureau Award presented by the Eastern Athletic Communications Association and in January of 2026 he was posthumously honored with the College Sports Communicators Lifetime Achievement Award.

Guise's impact will remain immeasurable, not just because of the thousands of games, statistics, and stories he produced, but because of the steady kindness, calm leadership, and strength he brought to York College.


Tyler Hutson
Men's Lacrosse - 2012-15
Tyler Hutson owns one of the most productive and decorated careers of any Spartan men's lacrosse player, and was a key force in propelling the program into one of the elite national powers. He helped turn a program which had only four winning seasons prior to his arrival into a program that won 66% of their games during his tenure, including a then program-record 16 wins in 2014, in addition to leading the Spartans to their first NCAA postseason appearance and victory. Hutson's name appears all over the Spartan record book and most notable remains tied for first in career points, second in career goals, third in career assists and first in man-up goals at the time of his induction. The program's first four-time all-conference selection, Hutson also became the first player in program history to earn a major conference award when he was dubbed the Capital Athletic Conference Player of the Year in 2013 and later earned a USILA Second Team All-American selection to become the first Spartan to land on one of the top three All-American teams. Hutson was the first Spartan men's lacrosse student-athlete to earn an Academic All-American honor and is one of just seven individuals in all of York College athletics history to earn the award multiple times.

Jessica (Miller) Lincoln
Women's Cross Country/Track & Field - 2011-15
Jessica (Miller) Lincoln ranks as the top performing women's cross country runner in York College history. She remains the only Spartan female to qualify for the NCAA Championships, a feat she accomplished twice, and is still the only two-time NCAA All-Region performer in program history while owning the two highest finishes (14th and 18th) by a Spartan at the regional meet. Lincoln also remains the most dominant distance runner in school history as she owns five individual conference titles spread across the 3K, 5K and 10K to go along with 10 individual all-conference honors. Her prominence still holds up to this day as she owns school records in the indoor 3K, outdoor 5K and 10K, and held the 10K record in the Capital Athletic Conference up until the conference disbanded in 2020. Lincoln was one of the top female Spartan athletes of her time and was honored with the Georgia Heathcote Stallman Award which is bestowed annually to York's top graduating female student-athlete.

Erica (Mulford) Schuck
Women's Lacrosse - 2011-14
Erica (Mulford) Schuck was a consistent and dynamic offensive threat who helped elevate the Spartan women's lacrosse program into the elite ranks of Division III. Her on-field prowess helped propel the program to its first NCAA postseason berth in her sophomore year and she was there for two more trips which included the program's first home game and win in the national tournament. By the end of her playing career, Schuck stood out as one of best to wear the Green and White as she was just the one of four individuals to earn an IWLCA All-American honor and one of three to earn IWLCA All-Region honors three or more times. She became just the second player in program history to reach the 200-point mark for her career and the third to eclipse 150 career goals. At the time of induction, Schuck ranks fifth in program history in career points, while ranking top-10 in goals and assists, tied for third in game-winning goals and fourth in free-position goals.
