Doutrich, Klemm Land on Women’s Swimming Academic All-MAC Team

NEWTOWN, Pa. - Two members of the York College women's swimming team - Annika Doutrich and Isabella Klemm - earned a spot on the 2026 Women's Swimming Academic All-MAC Team as announced by the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) office on Thursday. Doutrich and Klemm were two of 10 student-athletes recognized on the team.

The Winter Academic All-MAC teams recognize the top student-athletes both in the classroom and in athletic competition during the 2026 spring semester. The MAC sports information directors nominate and vote on the Academic All-MAC teams, giving 50 percent weight on both academic success and athletic success. A student-athlete must have a spring semester grade-point average (GPA) of 3.20 or higher to be eligible for the award.

Doutrich far exceeded the minimum academic requirements for the award as she posted a perfect 4.0 GPA in the spring semester as a biology major. The sophomore also put together another strong campaign in the pool at the MAC Championships as she totaled six medals - three individual and three relay - with four silvers and two bronzes.

Klemm capped off her career with a stellar 3.87 GPA in her final semester on her way to earning her degree in healthcare administration. The senior posted an unrivaled athletic resume as she earned the title of the David B. Eavenson MAC Women's Swimmer of the Year, the MAC Women's Swimming Senior Scholar-Athlete and became the first NCAA All-American in York women's swimming history as she finished sixth in the 100 breaststroke at the national meet.

Both Doutrich and Klemm have earned Academic All-MAC honors twice in their careers.
