YORK, PA – York College rising senior
Breana Grim earned a spot on the 2024-25 MAC All-Academic Women's Basketball team as announced by the league office on Monday.

Grim makes her second straight appearance on the prestigious academic squad. Grim is an integrated marketing major and had a 4.0 GPA for the nomination period while she boasts an overall GPA of 3.92.

Grim had another strong year on the hard wood for the Green and White. Grim played in 24 games with 23 starts as a junior for the Spartans. She averaged 12.7 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game. She shot 42.4% from the floor, 36.8% from three with a team-leading 49 triples, and 81.6% from the free throw line. Grim also led the team in steals with 41 in addition to blocking 19 shots.

Grim earned second-team MAC All-Commonwealth for the year after being the league's Rookie of the Year in 2023-24. She finished ninth in the league in scoring, second in assists, seventh in field goal percentage, first in free throw percentage, first in three-point field goal percentage and second in three-point field goals per game. She finished sixth in steals per game and seventh in minutes played per game.

For her two-year Spartan career, Grim has 600 points, 189 rebounds, 186 assists, 99 steals, and 37 blocked shots. She has played 1,514 minutes in 48 games as she is a career 41.6% shooter from the floor, 35.2% from three and 79.6% from the charity stripe.

Grim will headline the returners for the 2025-26 Spartan program as
Katie Kilpatrick takes over the program from the retired
Betsy Witman. The Spartans kick off the campaign on November 11 at McDaniel College.
