Isabella Klemm has been named the OSS Health Spartan Athlete of the Week for the week ending February 16.

Klemm put on a tremendous performance at the four-day Middle Atlantic Conference as she was named the Women's Swimmer of the Year. Klemm won all three of her individual events and was a part of two relay teams that medaled at the championships.

Klemm kicked off her championships on Thursday night as she defended her 200 IM title as she held off Stevens Eszter Kiss, recording a time of 2:08.23. Klemm set a new school record in the preliminaries as she posted a time of 2:07.58.Â

On Friday night, Klemm was a part of the 200 free relay team that finished second for the Spartans.

On Saturday, not only did Klemm win the 100 breaststroke for the Spartans but she set a new school and conference record. Klemm set the record the first time in the preliminaries with a time of 1:03.22. She then bested that mark in the evening swim with a time of 1:02.71. Klemm also swam the anchor leg of the 800 free relay team that finished third.

Klemm capped a fantastic weekend with her third victory on Sunday as she won the 200 breaststroke title. Klemm is the first Spartan women's swimmer to win a conference Swimmer of the Year award.
In addition to her three individual wins, she earned a silver as a part of the 400 medley relay team and a bronze in the 800 relay race.

Klemm is expected to earn an official bid to the 2025 NCAA Division III National Championships in Greensboro, North Carolina. The official championship bids will be announced on Wednesday, February 26.
