YORK, PA – York College head women's volleyball coach
Dan Mickle is proud to announce that
Sam Nogin has been named a Spartan assistant coach starting in time for the 2025 spring season.
Nogin comes to York College after being the Bishop McDevitt head girl's volleyball coach for the last three years. He also has extensive club experience with the Prevail Volleyball and Fusion Volleyball clubs, coaching both boy's and girl's teams in Annville, PA.
Mickle loves the experience and excitement that Nogin brings to the Spartan squad.
"Sam's enthusiasm and love for the game is something that really stands out," said Mickle. "I am very excited to have him on board starting with the spring season. I think he is going to fit in well with our staff and our team. "
As head coach at Bishop McDevitt, he was responsible for all aspects of the program. He is currently a social studies teacher at the school.
Nogin is a graduate of Penn State Harrisburg, graduating with a Bachelor of Secondary Education in Social Studies in May of 2020. While at Harrisburg, he served as the secretary of the club men's volleyball team from August 2019 through May 2020. He was a setter and libero for the Lions during his time on the men's club program.
