Klemm Sets Records To Lead Spartans on Day Two of Spartan Splash

YORK, Pa. - The York College women's swimming team compiled six top-three performances with two wins on day two of the Spartan Splash on Saturday.

Messiah moved into first place with 537 points after day two, while York (473) slipped into second, followed by Arcadia (337), Widener (308) and Elizabethtown (278) in the top-five.

Isabella Klemm lowered her own school and pool records while hitting an NCAA B Cut standard in the 100 breaststroke with a winning time of 1:02.42.

The Spartans also picked up a win in the 800 freestyle relay to close out the night as Annika Doutrich, Camden Perella, Annie Custis and Klemm teamed up for the winning time of 8:02.43.

Leah Koons and Doutrich each nabbed second-place finishes on the night with Koons in  the 400 IM and Doutrich in the 200 free. Perella joined Doutrich in 200 free top-three as she finished third.
