YORK, PA - York College junior golfer Victoria Jolakian has been named the MAC Women's Golfer of the Week as announced by the league office on Monday. 

Jolakian led the Spartans to the team title at the Spartan Fall Shootout this weekend at Royal Manchester in York. Not only did the Spartans win the team title but Jolakian also won the individual championship. 

The tournament was shortened to a 32 hole event as the teams only got 14 holes in before darkness on Sunday. 

Monday's round was played in a steady 30 mile per hour wind but brilliant sunshine. Jolakian was four-over on the front with a birdie on nine. She fired a 79 to win the tournament by six strokes after her 60 on Sunday. 

The tournament championship was her second of the fall.
