MANCHESTER, PA – The York College women's golf squad closed out their fall campaign with a championship at the Spartan Fall Shootout at Royal Manchester Golf Links in Manchester, PA.

The Spartans ran away from the field early as they were the first of four full teams in the tournament. The tournament was shortened to 32 holes as the teams were only able to complete 14 holes during Sunday's first round due to darkness. The teams were not able to complete Sunday's round before Monday's scheduled start.

The Spartans finished with a score of 583 with a 256 (through 14 holes) on Sunday followed by a 327 on Monday. York won the tournament by 134 strokes.

Junior
Victoria Jolakian led the Spartans with a tournament championship as she finished with a 79 on Monday's completed round.
Â
On Sunday, Jolakian was four-over-par (60) at the time of the round being called.
Lily Davis was second with a six-over-par 62 while
Ava Johnsen was third with a nine-over-par 65. Senior
Grace Strickland was York's fourth scorer on Sunday with a 69.
Vivian D'Orazi was York's fifth starter with an 80.
Samiya Bodalia and
Rachel Koengetter played as individuals in the tournament as they both got their rounds completed. Bodalia shot 77 for the round and had the Spartans' best 14-hole score at 59. Koengetter shot 101 for the round with her counting score being an 80.

Monday's round was played in a steady 30 mile per hour wind but brilliant sunshine. Jolakian was four-over on the front with a birdie on nine. She fired a 79 to win the tournament by six strokes after her 60 on Sunday. The tournament championship was her second of the fall.

Davis finished second in the tournament as she was six strokes back of Jolakian. Davis carded an 83 on Monday to finish with a score of 145 after shooting 62 on Sunday. Johnsen finished third in the tournament, one stroke back of Davis. Johnsen shot 81 on Monday after finishing with a 65 on Sunday.

Bodalia placed fourth overall as she finished with an 88 on Monday. Her tournament total of 147 was one back of Johnsen.

Strickland, making her final York College tournament appearance, finished seventh for the Green and White. Strickland shot 84 on Monday as she carded a four-over 40 on the front. She started her round on the fifth hole and got off to a tough start before she birdied nine. She shot a 44 on the back nine. Strickland finished her career with six straight pars to end the round. She completed the tournament with a total of 153.

D'Orazi finished tenth in the 24-player field as she shot an 88 on Monday after a 70 on Sunday. Her total score finished at 158. Koengetter was the final Spartan finisher as she tied for 15
th in the tournament. Koengetter shot a 96 on Monday as she finished with 176.
The Spartans are now off until the spring semester. The schedule for the spring will be released in early November at
