Women’s Wrestling Sweeps Home Quad Match

YORK, Pa. - The York women's wrestling team went undefeated in three dual matches at home on Sunday afternoon against Felician, Randolph, and Muhlenberg.

The Spartans out-scored their three opponents by a combined score of 124-25 on the day, including a program-record 45 points in a 45-5 victory over Randolph. Chloe Gross (103), Gisele Ramirez (117), Maura White (138) and Rebekah Patzke (145) all went 3-0 in the team's three dual matches.

How It Happened
York opened the day with a 35-15 victory over Felician in which the Spartans won seven bouts with four falls. York and Felician split the first four bouts, but then the Green and White ripped off five-straight wins to seal the win. Jada Stoneberg, Maura White and Kaylyn Adair each won by fall during York's five-bout win streak.

The Spartans won nine bouts in a 45-5 triumph over Randolph in their second dual of the day. Randolph's lone wine came via forfeit at 124 lbs. while York compiled six victories via fall and three by forfeit.

York closed out the day by again winning nine bouts in a 44-5 drubbing of Muhlenberg. Gisele Ramirez, White and Rebekah Patzke each posted falls, while Ashley Knapp posted a technical fall and the Muhles handed the Spartans 25 points in forfeits.
