YORK, Pa. - York College midfielder Sydney Mentzer has been named the MAC Commonwealth Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week for the week ending Mar. 31 as announced by the Middle Atlantic Conference office Monday afternoon.

Mentzer tied her career-high with five goals on just eight shots to go along with six draw controls to lead the 14th-ranked Spartans to victory over No. 17 Christopher Newport. She then added two more goals and led York with three draw controls in their 9-6 loss at No. 4 Salisbury.

For the week, Mentzer scored seven goals and collected nine draw controls. She leads the Spartans with 24 goals, 43 draw controls and 20 caused turnovers this season.
