YORK, PA – The #7 York College women's lacrosse program has been recognized for their academic excellence by the IWLCA as announced by the national organization on Wednesday.
The Spartans garnered a spot on the 2025 Academic Honor squad for their classroom performance during the year. A team must post a team GPA of 3.20 for the year to earn the team accolade. The Spartans finished the year with a team GPA of 3.53 including a fall GPA of 3.57 and a spring GPA of 3.49.
The Spartans had 11 individual players recognized on the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll. To earn a spot on the honor roll, a student-athlete must be a junior, a senior or a graduate student who has earned a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or greater.

The Spartans had another fantastic season as they captured their fourth straight MAC Commonwealth regular season and tournament titles. York tied a school-record with 18 wins as they advanced to the NCAA Division III Quarterfinals for the sixth time in school history.
