How It Happened:

• The Spartans got on the board in the 13th minute. Senior Ben Mochan slid a through ball to freshman Zion Friday. Friday collected the pass above the box and ripped a shot into the back of the net for his second goal of the year and the 1-0 Spartan lead.
• The Blue Jays outshot York 9-4 in the first half but each team put two shots on frame.
• The Hopkins came out of the break and took the play to the Spartans. Connor Jacobs tied the game just 4:20 into the second stanza. Jonathon Brown gave the Blue Jays a 2-1 lead 5:11 later on a cross from Jonah Muniz.
• Hopkins put the game away with two more goals in the next seven minutes. Achim Younker scored his seventh goal of the year in the 61st minute and Gerrit Church struck for the Blue Jays' fourth goal a mere 27 seconds later.
