The hosts jumped out to an early second set lead before Hopkins
cut the lead to one at 13-12. York then embarked on a 7-1 run to
push the lead to 20-13. Hopkins cut the lead to four but that would
be as close as they would get the rest of the set as York took the
2-0 lead.

took a 15-10 lead. York eventually trimmed the Blue Jay lead to
21-18 but Hopkins hung on for the 25-21 third set win.

erase the lead courtesy of a prolonged 15-9 run that turned a 10-7
York lead into a 22-19 Spartan deficit. The Spartans made it
interesting late as they drew to within one at 23-22 but the Blue
Jays got a kill and a service ace to force a fifth set.
In the fifth and deciding set, York jumped out to an early 6-3

cruised to the 15-7 set win.
