NEWTOWN, Pa. - York College senior defenseman Bear Evans has been named the MAC Commonwealth Defensive Player of the Week for the week ending April 5th as announced by the conference office on Tuesday.

Evans recorded 11 ground balls, four caused turnovers, and a goal during a 2-0 week for the York defense. He set a career-high with four caused turnovers in a conference victory over Messiah.
