NEWTOWN, Pa. - York College senior
Bryan Collins has been tabbed the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Men's Swimming Senior Scholar-Athlete as the conference announced their 2025-26 Winter MAC Senior Scholar-Athletes on Friday.
The MAC recognizes a senior student-athlete from each of the 10 winter sports (men's and women's basketball, men's and women's ice hockey, men's and women's swimming, men's and women's indoor track & field, and men's and women's wrestling) for their strong academic and athletic prowess.
Collins has cemented his legacy as one of the most dominant swimmers in York history, punctuated by his selection as the 2026 David B. Eavenson MAC Men's Swimmer of the Year. A powerhouse in the pool, Collins is a seven-time individual MAC Champion and currently stands as a MAC record holder in addition to owning multiple school records. His postseason performances have been instrumental in the Spartans' success, consistently delivering top-tier times and podium finishes throughout his decorated four-year career.
Off the blocks, Collins is a Civil Engineering major who has maintained an impressive 3.80 grade-point-average (GPA). His dedication to academic rigor is evidenced by his status as a two-time CSC Academic All-District selection and a two-time Academic All-MAC honoree. A four-time Dean's List member and two-time recipient of the MAC Academic Honor Roll, Collins perfectly balances the demands of a challenging engineering curriculum with his status as the conference's premier swimmer.
Collins is now the second Spartan male swimmer to earn this prestigious honor, joining Colin Draminski who earned the award in 2024.
