Spartan Men Sweep the Gold on Day Three of MAC Championship

YORK, Pa. - The York College men's swimming team remained in second place out of 11 teams after winning all four events on the third day of the 2026 Middle Atlantic Conference Swimming Championship held at the Graham Aquatic Center.

Stevens leads the team standings with 1186 points, followed by York (1040.5), Misericordia (693), Arcadia (656) and Widener (611.5) in the top-five.

Highlights
A day after claiming his first-career MAC medal with a bronze in the 100 butterfly, Junior Alex Daniele claimed his first gold medal by winning the 200 butterfly with a time of 1:56.03.

Sophomore Bryce Miller defended his gold medal in the 100 backstroke, winning by nearly two seconds with a time of 50.78.

Junior Cooper Stiles captured his first-career individual medal and did so in golden fashion by winning the 100 breaststroke by a margin of two seconds with a time of 56.21.

York continued their success in the 800 freestyle relay as they claimed a medal in the four-straight season and captured their second gold since joining the conference in 2021.
