Spartan Women Cap Off Regular Season at Paul Kaiser Classic

YORK, Pa. – The York women's track and field team capped off the outdoor regular season at the 20th Annual Paul Kaiser Classic hosted by Shippensburg on Saturday.

Top Performers
Payton Mann put together a milestone performance in the 400m hurdles to finish first out of 17 finishers. She ran a personal-best time of 1:03.85 which lowered her own school record and is the first time she ran under a 1:04.00. Mann is first in the Middle Atlantic Conference this season and 11th in the AARTFC.

The 4x400m relay team consisting of Mann, Angela Nuse, Keziah Boyce and Isabel Tenney finished fourth with a season-best time of 4:08.03. Their time is now top in the MAC rankings as they head into next week's outdoor conference championships.

The 4x100m relay team of Mann, Nuse, Boyce and Julie Lopez finished seventh and posted the team's top time of the season with a pace of 50.37 which ranks fourth in the MAC this season.

Hailey Sherwood posted the team's top mark in the hammer throw this season with a throw of 42.99m which ranks ninth in the MAC.

Tenney posted the top time on the team this season in the 800m with a pace of 2:24.44 to finish 10th.

Zada Marine recorded the team's top throw of the season in the shot out with a personal-best toss of 11.49m. Her throw also ranks seventh in the MAC this season.
