Women’s Track Finishes 12th at MAC Indoor Championships

READING, Pa. – The York women's track and field team finished 12th out of 14 teams at the Middle Atlantic Indoor Track and Field Championships hosted by Alvernia on Friday and Saturday.

Top Performers
Freshman Alita Paragon had the top overall finish for the Spartans as she finished fourth in the pole vault with a personal-best height of 3.25m. 

Payton Mann, Isabel Tenney, Keziah Boyce and Megan Fique combined to nab a fifth-place finish in the 4x400 relay.

Four Spartans finished seventh in various events. Mann posted a time of 1:01.82 in the 400m, Tenney ran a 2:24.17 in the 800m, Maddy Neutzel posted a personal-best height of 3.00m in the pole vault and Hailey Sherwood recorded a personal-best throw of 14.47m in th weight throw.

Lindsay Fry scored a team point with an eighth-place finish in the 5000m with a time of 18:57.29.

Isabella Bankert, Mann, Tenney and Keziah Boyce nabbed a team point with an eighth-place finish in the 4x200 relay with a season-best time of 1:52.49.
